Business Description
Richard has been in the health and exercise fields for over 15 years with formal education from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada in Exercise Science and Leisure Studies. He has numerous certifications that qualify him to assess movement and posture and to prescribe strengthening, stretching and cardiovascular programs designed for the individual in mainstream, post-rehab and special populations (such as diabetes and arthritis). In response to a need he found in his clients, Richard now offers golf strength and conditioning coaching. A very physically demanding sport, most players fatigue quickly and lose predictability as they play the round. In targeting the muscles specific to the game players are able to increase strength, distance and accuracy while reducing fatigue and injury. More important than his mastery of the mechanics, he wants each participant to take away not only an understanding of how they can change their lives, but also the desire. In his many years of experience he has inspired change in the lives of hundreds if not thousands through education and by example.

Q.  Where do you train your clients? Do you train clients in their own home?
At their home, work or gym. At times in a park or at a number of gyms.

Q.  Do I need a home gym in order to train at home?
No, I can bring equipment or if you prefer, you can purchase some inexpensive equipment that I can recommend.

Q.  Do you provide dietary advice?
Yes, some general guidelines. Everyone's a "nutritionist" but if one wants a meal plan, I'd recommend a dietician.

Q.  What are your rates?
$60-$120 depending on the number of sessions.

Q.  Do you provide any guarantees on results?
My knowledge of exercise is a compilation of different programs. True facts backed up by experience (trial & error). People generally have very little time to spend exercising. Therefore, I figure it's my job to find the quickiest & safest way to get people their results. It's no rocket science, it works. If you're consistent & you follow the lifestyle, you will achieve results.

Q.  What makes you different from other fitness trainers?
My interest in my profession. I love what I do. This is my life. I'm not waiting for a gig to come through. I guess, I simply care. I strive to be the best I can be by continuing to educate myself further.
